On-site Scanning
On-site Scanning gives you complete piece of mind, by fulfilling all your scanning needs at your premises, giving you confidence that your documents are safe and secure. With immediate access to your documents in case of an urgent need for retrieval you and your staff will have no disruption to your working day.

On-site Scanning will have one dedicated team assigned to the job until it is completed. Our staff is completely vetted and a confidentiality / non disclosure agreement will be signed between Arcplace and you the client before any work commences.
Off-site Scanning
Our off-site scanning services are ideal for getting all your current and archived paperwork scanned at once. We will collect your documents and take them to our premises where they will stay for the entire scanning process. Sending the files off-site will allow you to convert your existing paper documents to electronic files with minimal disruption to your business. Once the document scanning is complete, the original paper can be returned, confidentially destroyed or stored in a secure document storage area.

Off-site scanning can also be used for live documents. A frequent collection or forwarding of documents to our scanning center is set up and these documents are given a priority scanning slot in order to return the images and data on the same day. This captured data can typically be used to feed a business process such as invoice processing or order fulfillment saving you from having to enter the data manually into your systems.
Delivery
As part of our scanning services we deliver the files into a variety of file and database formats. From PDF or PDF/A to TIFF or JPEG files, in black and white, greyscale or color, from a till receipt to a drawing, we can scan all your documents. If you already have a document management or archiving system, we can generate index files to be uploaded onto your system.
Scanned documents can be supplied in many different formats. Standard formats are as follows:
- TIFF (Tagged Image File Format) the most standard raster format
- PDF (Portable Data Format) or PDF/A (PDF for long-term archiving), which can be a simple raster scan or can include OCR information, for searching, cutting and pasting text to other applications
Scans and index information can be returned on CD, DVD or Hard Disk complete with search, retrieve and view software which can if required be configured for network access, alternatively the data can be loaded onto an in-house or hosted back-end system.
